Sarah Ann Weber’s paintings and drawings infuse personal observations of the natural world with the frenzy of floral ecstasy, resulting in a new reality, imbued with metaphysical meaning and enchantment.  Focusing on the exotic, her highly detailed, dense compositions become places where growth and entropy, figure and ground, intertwine. Executed with a mixture of colored pencils, watercolor, acrylic and oil paint, Weber, much like the imagery in her work, blends and entangles the boundaries between drawing and painting.
